If Same Item Multiple Boards (SIMB) isn’t loading on your corporate network, your company’s firewall or monday.com Enterprise IP restrictions are likely blocking it. This guide gives your IT team everything they need to authorize SIMB’s domains and static egress IP addresses so the app loads and syncs reliably within your secured environment.

Symptoms

If you’re experiencing any of the following, a network restriction is the most likely cause:
  • A red circle with a slash icon appears on the SIMB tab or app view
  • The app view loads as a blank page or fails to initialize
  • SIMB works normally on personal or home networks but not on corporate WiFi or VPN

Why This Happens

SIMB must communicate with external servers in real time to sync items between boards. Enterprise network security policies often block this traffic by default. There are two distinct causes:
  1. Local corporate firewalls — Your internal IT infrastructure may block external app domains. If your firewall prevents SIMB’s outbound connections, the app cannot load its interface or reach its sync database.
  2. monday.com Enterprise IP Address Restrictions — To meet evolving SOC2 and HIPAA compliance standards, monday.com Enterprise accounts can enforce strict IP Address Restriction protocols that require explicit whitelisting of all external API and webhook traffic. SIMB uses static egress IPs so your IT team can set permanent, reliable rules.
Connection failures are almost always a network configuration requirement — not a bug in the app. Applying the whitelists below restores full functionality.

Solution Part 1: Domain Whitelisting

Ask your IT team to allow outbound HTTPS (port 443) traffic to the following domains. This allows SIMB to load its interface and communicate with its sync database from within your network:

Solution Part 2: IP Address Whitelist

If your organization uses monday.com Enterprise with IP Address Restriction enabled, you must manually add SIMB’s static egress IPs to your monday.com Allowed List. This permits monday.com to accept incoming sync requests from SIMB’s servers.

How to apply this in monday.com:
  1. Log in to monday.com as an Admin.
  2. Navigate to Administration → Security → IP address restriction.
  3. Click Add IP address, enter each IP from the table above, and set its status to Active.

Template Email for Your IT Team

Copy and send the following message to your IT department to request the necessary whitelisting:
Subject: Whitelist & IP Authorization Request: monday.com App — Same Item Multiple Boards

Hi [IT Team],

We use a monday.com Marketplace app called "Same Item Multiple Boards." To ensure the
app functions correctly within our security perimeter, we need to authorize its domains
and static IP addresses.

If we have IP Address Restrictions enabled in our monday.com Enterprise account,
please add the following static egress IPs to the "Allowed List" in the monday.com
Admin Security settings:

  Main backend:  139.59.154.242, 46.101.192.58
  Frontend:      164.92.224.10, 142.93.169.78
  Subitem:       139.59.210.52, 142.93.96.70
  Item Service:  104.248.241.183, 64.226.67.137
  Utils:         46.101.178.229, 138.197.184.163
  Recipe:        159.89.5.105, 188.166.161.207
  Sync setup:    188.166.167.153, 142.93.98.15
  Pulse:         64.226.116.104, 207.154.199.92

These configurations are required for the app to load within our boards and to sync
item data in real time. As of 2025/2026, these static IPs are necessary to comply with
SOC2/HIPAA security handshakes between external Marketplace apps and our monday.com
Enterprise environment.

Verification

After your IT team confirms the whitelist is applied:
  1. Clear your browser cache or open a private/incognito window.
  2. Navigate to your monday.com board.
  3. Open the SIMB app view — it should load and display normally.
  4. If the issue persists, try a different browser to rule out cached DNS entries.
If SIMB still doesn’t load after whitelisting, confirm with IT that the rules apply to your specific network segment or VPN profile. Some organizations route VPN traffic through a separate proxy that requires independent configuration.

  • Ask IT to verify the whitelist applies to your specific VPN or network segment
  • Check whether your organization uses a web proxy requiring separate configuration
  • Try accessing monday.com from outside the corporate network to isolate whether it’s a network-only issue
